AII Data Processing opens a new office in Veliko Tarnovo, central Bulgaria. The choice of location was dominated by the acknowledged reputation of the faculty of foreign languages at St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, whose graduates have the chance of becoming potential employees. The office starts with three departments – Coding, News Desk and Sales. The company develops a knowledge management system Knowledge Ocean. Knowledge Ocean has several elements: Knowledge Centre, E-log, Knowledge Repository, Library and Knowledge Lounge. The company’s policy towards employees wins the recognition of the EU. We won the first project “Knowledge, Competence, Success”, funded under EU’s operational programme Human Resources Development. The project fully corresponds to the commitment of the managers at AII Data Processing Ltd. to constantly invest in the employees and develop their professional skills. The approved budget of the project is BGN 248,000. AII Data Processing Ltd. competed with 67 submitted projects in the category large enterprises and outraced some 650 projects with a total value of BGN 67 mln.

AII Data Processing, along with Bulgarian IT company Design.bg and Romanian Netbridge Development, establishes the first e-Academy (www.e-acad.eu) for electronic marketing and trade on the Balkans. The curriculum extends to the fields of e-marketing, consulting, e-trade, programming, web design, creating of digital content and e-PR. The project target business clients and large companies in the IT sector, for which e-Academy will carry out internal trainings. Another line of business in e-Academy will be training and compiling a database of prospective employees to answer to the sectors demand on the Balkans.

This year SeeNews expands the coverage of the sectors and topics in order to meet the needs of the business community for a single event where the professionals in the financial services market meet to discuss hot topics, make decisions and forecast changes in market developments. AII Data Processing successfully closes Phase 1 of the implementation of Balanced Scorecard Strategic Management, funded by the EU’s Phare programme of the EU. The completed activities for the period November 28, 2008 – February 27, 2009 include research and signing of a subcontract with a consulting services provider. The main role of the consulting agency is to assist and facilitate the development of the Balanced Scorecard of the company. The project is now entering its second phase - realisation (implementation). At this stage, having partially received the funds under the Programme, the initial plan of the project contemplates to put them to use by purchasing software, a server platform and by finalizing the activities.
